The best time for Everest Region Treks is the Spring (March, April, May) and the Autumn (September, October,  November) season.

You will require 2 permits for the Everest region trekking - Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit and Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit.

If you are following the route from Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek, you must obtain an additional permit for Gaurishankar Conservation Area.
